<li><p>The timestamp is included in the LSA when the LSA is originally sent the first router.</p></li>
<li><p>A timestamp is recorded in the LSDB when the LSA is received (or sent for the first router), but the timestamp is not included in the LSA.</p></li>

<p>This is a design issue. I’m not sure whether to do #1, but at least we should do #2.</p>
