Description
It is unknown whether VANET capabilities work in Mini-NDN Wifi. Assuming you have the correct versions of mininet-wifi and mini-NDN wifi, you could test this by running:
sudo python mininet-wifi/examples/vanet.py- A window should appear. Click 10 times to draw a car path, and then the cars should be placed with circles around them indicating their range. The cars will move along the track, wrapping back around when they reach the end.
- Test network usability with ping, tcperf, etc.
- Test that cars that are out-of-range (their range circles do not intersect) cannot reach each other.
If all of the above work, it is reasonable to conclue that the simple VANET scenario works as intended.
