The in-browser page already has the beginnings of the code to register a route:

https://github.com/named-data/ndn-js/blob/ab7119a33f218835fb4b5843011f9a7751b2152b/tools/micro-forwarder/extension/config.html#L77

Should complete the html page with a button to register a route to a remote forwarder (over WebSockets). This will appear in the list of faces/FIB.

The button works, so closing. But need to resolve the issue of loading the page from the toolbar which is discussed in issue #3579.
