Description
We currently rely heavily on the infoedit toolset to execute modifications to node's configuration files, which has multiple drawbacks and can potentially be a source of inefficiency due to repeated file I/O. As the resolution of #5316 requires accessing values from the configuration file, it may be preferable to move to this methodology going forward.
Due to the more pressing nature of #5316, we are splitting this into sub-tasks.
