20140211 conference call decides:

  • FIB entries should be displayed as part of forwarding status
  • displaying RIB is not a substitute of displaying FIB
  • result should be segmented using CCNx Name Convention

20140213 conference call reviewed FibEnumeration revision 1.

There are some discussions on response segmentation and the usage of short FreshnessPeriod Data packets to ensure latest result is returned.
One alternate is to use a short FreshnessPeriod meta Data packet combined with long FreshnessPeriod segmented Data packets.
However this approach is more complex.

I believe the current protocol can work correctly, when certain implementation techniques are applied.

I made a correction to the protocol: Strategy field is removed from FibEntry block, because strategy choice is not stored in FIB entry since #1309.
