Description

Based on these test results (jitter buffer - 600ms):

hub/perceptual latency (ms)/RTT (ms)

  • aleph / 500 / 28
  • UCI / 500 / 42
  • colorado / 650 / 108
  • michigan / 800 / 226
  • NEU / 1000 / /250
  • Beijing / 1500 / 560
  • Tongji / 1500 / 460

it seems that latency is increasing depending on the RTT value for the hub. In order to fix this, jitter buffer should:

  • be adjustable depending on RTT value and minimal size specified by user in .cfg file
  • accomodate RTT value to remove RTT dependency on RTT value
