Description
Currently, the NFD PPA is behind its commit 4c9577, which means that we're currently supporting NFD versions which assume /run/nfd/ as the socket location and ones which will crash if it is used. As this PPA has a fixed version number, we can add manual handling as needed. This code can be removed in the future when it is brought into line with the source version.
