I have verified the steps to install OS X 10.8.3 inside VirtualBox.

1. Download OS X 10.8.3 (.dmg) from Department Campus Licensing
2. Type "virtualbox" in spotlight, and launch VirtualBox app
3. Create a new VM
   • choose any vmname
   • choose Mac OS guest system
   • assign 2048MB memory (minimum required by Mountain Lion)
   • create 20GB VDI dynamic disk
4. Start VM, select downloaded .dmg as CDROM
5. Select English as primary language
6. Run Disk Utility and create a partition in VBOX disk, quit Disk Utility
7. Run "Reinstall OS X" and follow the steps
