Description
I'm creating this issue for informational purposes
On FreeBSD platform I'm experiencing segmentation faults caused by log4cxx library. It is a known issue and there is a fix that has not been addressed for many years.
I wrote a workaround instructions here: Using ndns on FreeBSD. The issue may need to get confirmed with NLSR codebase and similar page could be created or this info could go to installation instructions.

Assigning this to Damian because he is working on replacing log4cxx with the in-house NDN logger

- Target version changed from v0.4.0 to v0.5.0
This issue was postponed to v0.5.0 because of the NLSR V2 update, which blocked progress for another issue, #3949.

- Status changed from New to Abandoned
