ndnputchunks: display some output by default
Added by Anonymous over 6 years ago.
Updated over 6 years ago.
Description
ndnputchunks should display some messages without the need of the '-v' parameter.
'-v' still adds the additional output per incoming Interest.
- Description updated (diff)
I disagree with this issue. Unix tools should be silent unless an error occurs.
At the very least, provide a -q
option that enables "quiet mode" printing nothing to stderr.

Citation needed. And then, even if there is such a guideline, you need to explain why our tools must follow it. I know of plenty of tools that don't.
