Hmm... I though this has been fixed long ago. At least I remember I was fighting this in some of the wscript (may be NFD?).

It is definitely still a problem in ndn-cxx, the combination of -Werror and -Wundefined-func-template is causing a configure error on macOS with the newly-released Xcode 9.0.
