Description
Write a technical memo about whether core routers can choose to ignore selector processing.
This memo aims to explain, by using specific application examples, the importance of these optional fields under various cases, and the tradeoffs core router implementations may consider in supporting them.
Files
I plan to cover these application use cases:
- % Done changed from 10 to 40
- % Done changed from 40 to 70
- Status changed from In Progress to Resolved
- % Done changed from 70 to 100
- Status changed from Resolved to Closed
- Status changed from Closed to Resolved
Where is the memo?
A draft of this memo is located in [email protected]:papers/ndn-memos.git repository selector-tradeoff directory.
Publication of this memo is blocked by something not known to me.
This issue is to remain open until this memo is published.
- Status changed from Resolved to Abandoned
Selectors are removed in NDN Packet Format v0.3, so this memo is no longer relevant.
