"Autoconfiguration" here refers to the set of steps required for a typical node (and its applications) to bootstrap identity, connectivity, and forwarding for NDN communication. It would be very helpful to have documentation describing typical steps for application developers, providing pointers to canonical documentation on the protocols, components, and tools involved in each step. A draft of such document is attached for feedback and discussion.
